Gamdias reached out to me recently to have me review their Hermes E2 Mechanical Keyboard with Blue Switches. I’ve been using it for about a week now and I like it a lot!
The lights are on by default, but they can be turned on and off with just a couple of key presses. There are 5 levels of brightness, or 6 if you count “off” as a brightness level. The lights also do a breathing mode and there are 2 speeds available for that mode.
The Windows key is on the right side instead of the left and is also used to let you know when you’ve reached the top and bottom of the range of brightness or speed. The Windows key can also be disabled for when you’re gaming and you don’t want your gaming experience interrupted by accidentally bumping the key.
The build quality of the keyboard is surprisingly good for being an all-plastic build. The keyboard has very little flex or bend to it which is pretty great!
