In this video we’ll take a look at how to install Riot.im (a Slack clone) on OpenMediaVault 5 (OMV5).
Instead of using Containers or Stacks, we’re going to use a good, old-fashioned SSH script to do the installation.
This install is SUPER fast and easy.
Connect to your OpenMediaVault server via SSH using a program like Putty.
Enter this command:
docker run --name riot -p 7070:80 -d bubuntux/riot-web
Wait just a couple of minutes for everything to get setup and then go to http://your-server-ip:7070, create an account and login. That’s it!
