Amber Pro Storage
For storage, you can get a 1TB or 2TB model. Each will come with 2 hard drives setup in a Raid 1 configuration for data redundancy which means you can have one of the drives in the device fail and NOT lose your backed up data.
Additional Functionality
In addition to a router and NAS device, they’ve also added the ability to host your own applications via Docker! You can extend Amber’s capabilities with your own containerized applications or thousands of existing applications available on dockerhub.com.
While the current Docker interface is functional, I’ve been working with their team to further the development of both the interface and the functionality of the Docker integration.
